Phoenix Class looked into What Sikhism was, they learnt about the Guru Granth Sahib Ji (scared text) and how the Sikhs believe it to be their living Guru.

Sprites Class learnt about similarities and differences, they compared Sikhism to Islam and Christianity focusing on appearance, languages,  food and places of worship. They also enjoyed exploring the 5Ks taking the opportunity to dress up and share text.

We were also very lucky to have Mr Sahotay come in an talk to us about Sikhism and giving the children an opportunity to ask questions.  Look at the Children's Work section on the School Photos area to see examples of what the children did during the week.
